Fund risk disclosures

The MVF Indus QRAC Strategy is offered only by way of the Private Placement Memorandum (PPM) to eligible investors. The points below are a summary only; the full risk factors are set out in the PPM, which prevails.

Market risk

The value of investments can fall as well as rise, and investors may get back less than they invest.

Derivatives and leverage

The strategy trades Indian equity derivatives. Derivatives can magnify losses as well as gains.

Algorithmic and model risk

Automated strategies depend on models, data and technology. Models may not behave as expected in new market conditions, and systems can fail.

Liquidity and lock-in

Investments are subject to a one-year lock-in, and redemptions depend on the terms in the PPM.

Currency risk

The fund is exposed to movements between the US dollar and the Indian rupee. Hedging may not fully offset currency losses.

Counterparty and custody risk

The fund relies on brokers, exchanges, the custodian and other service providers, any of which may fail to perform.

Regulatory and tax risk

Changes in law, regulation or tax in India, Mauritius or other jurisdictions, including foreign portfolio investment rules, may affect the fund.

No assurance of results

There is no assurance that the fund will achieve its objective. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
